About

I run SEO at Eye Advertising in Cairo, and I teach SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) at Learn N’ Digital.

I did not start in search. Between 2012 and 2016 I worked at Memphis Tours as a tour leader and guide — a job that is mostly about answering the same questions for different people, in the right order, before they have to ask twice. In 2012 I started moving into digital marketing, and it turned out that search is the same job at scale.

Since then I have written or optimized content for more than 120 websites, implemented foundational SEO on 200+, and run extended technical and content programmes on 40+. Across those clients the average lift in organic traffic has been around 590%, and several sites went from zero to more than 400,000 monthly organic visits inside a year.

Where I have worked

  • Learn N’ Digital — SEO & GEO Instructor (Jan 2026 – present). I teach the AI-Assisted SEO & GEO programme and the Email Marketing module of the Full-Stack Digital Marketer track.
  • Eye Advertising — SEO Manager (Mar 2022 – present). Enterprise and mid-market SEO across Egypt and the Gulf, including the Greenlam Industries MEA campaign.
  • Zaher.AI — Query Engineer, then SEO Head (Sep 2025 – May 2026).
  • Engosoft Middle East — SEO Specialist & Google Ads Manager, Saudi Arabia (Mar 2021 – Mar 2022).
  • Freelance — Senior SEO since Nov 2015, still taking selected projects.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University.

What I actually do

My working model is SEO first, GEO second — in that order, deliberately. A site that cannot be crawled, understood and trusted by a classical search engine will not be quoted by an answer engine either. Once the fundamentals hold, I optimize the same content for how LLMs retrieve and cite: answer-first structure, semantic entity coverage, cannibalization control, and YMYL-appropriate sourcing.
